Terms, in plain words
How a story page is paid for, what it includes, who owns what, and how either of us can end it. Every project is confirmed in a short written agreement before work starts; if anything here and the agreement differ, the agreement applies.

Price
Founding clients (the first ten): US$399 to build the page, then US$89 a month. For as long as you stay subscribed, that monthly price does not rise.
From the eleventh client on: US$599 to build, then US$129 a month.
The build fee is paid before work starts. The monthly fee starts the month the page goes live and is billed monthly in advance. Prices are in US dollars; any bank or card fees on your side are yours.
Custom story sites and films are quoted separately, once the scope is agreed in writing.
What the story page includes
One story page of around six scenes, in one language, for desktop and mobile, linked to the checkout or form you already use, with basic visit tracking. It usually goes live two to four weeks after the story and the assets are agreed, depending on the content and the design.
Each month: hosting, backups, one content update (new words, a new picture, or a scene for a new product — unused updates do not roll over) and a short report on how the page is doing.
Not included unless agreed: a second language, more pages, accounts, carts, new payment methods, complex back ends, photography.
Twelve months, and how it ends
The subscription runs for at least twelve months from launch. After that it continues month to month, and either of us can end it with 30 days’ notice in writing.
If you end it within the first twelve months, the remaining months of that first year are still due.
After twelve months you can buy the page outright for one year of its monthly fee — US$999 for founding clients, US$1,499 at the standard price. You receive the full code, the assets and a handover guide. After a buy-out, hosting and maintenance are no longer included.
If I ever stop offering this service, I will give you at least 60 days’ notice and hand over the full code and assets at no charge, so your page can keep running elsewhere.
Who owns what
Your domain is registered in your name from start to finish. Your products, words, photographs, logos and trademarks stay yours.
The page’s code and design stay mine while you subscribe; you have the right to use them for as long as the subscription runs, and they become yours on buy-out.
You confirm you have the right to the material you give me. I may show the finished page in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.
AI-generated pictures
I use AI to generate illustration and footage from my own storyboards and prompts, and I label it on the page. A generated image never stands in for a photograph of your actual product.
Responsibility
I will do the work with care and fix what I get wrong. I am not responsible for your sales results, for outages of the hosting provider or your checkout, or for content you supply. My total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the issue.
